History
In August 1974 at the Biennial Conference in Auckland, the New Zealand Society of Endodontics was formed with the objects of promoting and advancing the study and practice of the field of endodontics in New Zealand.
At the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Society of Endodontics held in Christchurch on the 14th of September 1994, fifteen members applied for the incorporation of the Society in accordance with the Incorporated Societies Act 1908. On the 19th of July 1995, the New Zealand Society of Endodontics was officially incorporated and the rules of the Society have been set. Since, the Society has grown in size and now has more than three hundred members.
